GA11

Today's post features older photographs of my Grandmother, who passed aware earlier this month. I was recently given these photos and thought I'd feature them to honor her.

After seeing this one, I finally saw a family resemblance. Before this, I never really thought I took after either side of my family. Some characteristics leaned toward my father's side but generally, there was no one specific I took after. I think I'm going to try and replicate the hair style and do a side by side comparison.

This is by far one of my favorite photographs of her.

GA5
This one is a little bizarre, in my opinion. I wish I had come across this one before she passed away. I would love to know the context in which this was taken.

GA6
The caption on this one was given to me: 3 musketeers. My grandmother with two of her sisters.

GA7
With her sister Ethel.

GA9
Based off the writing on the back, this one is my grandmother at age sixteen months.

When going through her photos, I found a lot of them focused on this tree. This tree seemed to be a popular spot for a lot of their photo taking.
